The 1975 cruiser is a classic surf shaped cruiser, inspired by a combination of breakthroughs in skateboarding in the 70’s including the invention of the kick-tail and the urethane wheel.

The invention of urethane wheels in 1972 made it possible for skateboarders to be more aggressive, similar to surfing. It enabled them to progress their own style and make the transition into vert skating.

In 1975, Del Mar, California, a slalom and freestyle contest was held at the Ocean Festival. That day, the now legendary Zephyr skate team showed the world what skateboarding could be.

The 1975 is a combination of all the best aspects and innovations in board design in the early days of skateboarding and is a fantastic all-round board.
